The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) is seeking a Principal Policy Analyst - Aboriginal Engagement.
The successful candidate will have policy experience and will facilitate, guide and support statewide on‑Country engagement, building authentic, respectful two-way partnerships that are place-based and collaborative allowing Aboriginal communities to actively participate in both contribute to and benefit from Western Australia's transition to clean energy.
The role involves working in a variety of projects and engagement activities relating to the Pilbara Energy Transition Plan.
This is a full time role based in Perth with an annual salary range of $128,077 – $136,891 plus superannuation.
Being identified as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander as identified under section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 is a prerequisite to fill this position.
