Alcoa is seeking a Noongar Liaison Officer to work in Alcoa’s WA Mining Operations, located in the area managed by the Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation.
The Noongar Liaison Officer will provide on-ground support in the coordination and management of cultural heritage assessments related to Alcoa’s long and medium term mine plans.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Specialist to coordinate and deliver heritage field activities safely, while meeting project timeframes and creating a positive collaborative work environment to ensure the ongoing management of cultural heritage within Alcoa’s WA mining operations.
This position can be offered full time (Monday to Friday 8hrs per day) or part time/ job share 2 or 3 days per week 7.2 hours per day, with flexible start and finish times.
