The WA Department of Water and Environmental Regulation is seeking five Aboriginal graduates as part of their Aboriginal Graduate Program.
This is a 12-month contract beginning in February 2025 which aims to help Aboriginal graduates to build skills, experience, and networks, for a successful career in the WA public sector.
To be eligible for the program applicants must identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and have completed a relevant bachelor’s degree.
The program includes customised rotational opportunities, mentoring and support, flexible working hours, and 12-months membership to the Young Professionals with the Institute of Public Administration. The annual salary is $79,156 plus superannuation.
Graduates will also be supported by the department’s Yarning Circle and Youth Outreach Understanding Networking Group.
