Expression of interest

Undergraduate Certificate in Land, Sea, and River First Nation Ranger Management Practice (UH-LSRRM)

Curtin University is inviting First Nation Rangers or Ranger Groups to express their interest in attending our micro-credentials program as part of the Undergraduate Certificate in Land, Sea, and River First Nation Ranger Management and Practice (UH-LSRRM) which commences in 2nd Semester 2024.

This program is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in managing and protecting natural resources, integrating Traditional Indigenous Knowledge with contemporary scientific practices. The program is structured around “two-way science” learning and creating a workforce that can look to the future of First Nation Land Management needs and aspirations using Traditional Indigenous Knowledge and practice combined with Western science skills and knowledge.

Applicants are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 16 August 2024.

The EOI should include:

  1. A brief introduction of the individual or group.

  2. Details of current and past projects related to land, sea, and river management.

  3. Any specific areas of interest or focus within the program.

  4. A nominated contact person, and their details.
