The Administrative Review Tribunal is recruiting for a First Nations Liaison Officer, and a Team Leader.
The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) plays a crucial role in the Australian legal landscape, providing a process for individuals and organisations to seek an independent review of decisions made under a wide range of Commonwealth laws.
These hybrid positions can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and are non-ongoing for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
First Nations Liaison Officer
Reporting to the Team Leader, the First Nations Liaison Officers will be a part of a team that will be responsible for building the Tribunal’s cultural capability as well as engaging with community and stakeholders to build awareness of, and access to-the Tribunal.
Help support the Tribunals commitment to improving outcomes and service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants, people, and communities.
Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-discrimination Act 1997.
The annual salary range is $82,616 to $87,608 plus 15.4% superannuation.

Team Leader, First Nations Liaison Officer
Reporting to the Assistant Director - First Nations Liaison, the Team Leader, First Nations Liaison Officer will play a crucial role in driving the Tribunals commitment to improving outcome and service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants, people and the community.
The Team Leader is committed in leading the national engagement and liaison responsibility which contributes to the tribunals overall cultural capability, cultural safety and our approach to closing the gap and reconciliation plan.
Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14(d) of the Anti-discrimination Act 1997.
The annual salary range is $90,199 to $102,499 plus 15.4% superannuation.
