The Aboriginal Legal Service of WA Limited (ALSWA) is recruiting for a male Bail Support Worker.
The main role of the Bail Support Worker is to provide support to adult accused persons by developing bail support plans, by assisting clients to comply with their bail conditions, and by providing practical support and assistance (including but not limited to transport assistance, reminders and referrals to appropriate support programs and services in the community). Another key role is to mentor and guide clients to improve their health, safety and wellbeing.
Aboriginality is a genuine qualification for this position as per section 50(d) of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act 1984.
It’s a full-time fixed-term contract based in Perth. The annual salary range is $63,962 to $88,304 per annum plus superannuation.
