The City of Rockingham is seeking a full time Community Development Officer for First Nations Engagement.
Working as part of the Community Capacity Building team, the Community Development Officer will develop and facilitate meaningful engagement with First Nations people to guide programs, projects and events.
The Community Development Officer will also assist the city to create, support and facilitate opportunities for, and with First Nations people in the areas of arts, health and well-being, education, employment, economic development and heritage. They will identify, facilitate and promote learning and development opportunities for Council members, staff, and/or the community, which ensure a culturally secure service, and a deeper understanding of culture for the whole community.

The annual salary for this role is $87,585.
