Wungening Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Daily Living Skills Worker for their Boorloo Bidee Mia (BBM) program, based in Perth.
Boorloo Bidee Mia provides a low-threshold and change accommodation option for people who have been sleeping rough. It provides 66 rooms, a range of common areas, and ongoing, responsive support available to all residents for the duration of their stay. A key focus of the service is to support Aboriginal people experiencing homelessness.
The BBM Daily Living Skills Worker will walk alongside residents and staff to co-create (generate ideas) co-design (figure out how it might work), and co-produce (deliver together), community activities, including: assistance with daily living skills, social and emotional wellbeing from a nutritional perspective, physical exercise and sports, gardening, support groups and many others.
The annual salary for this role is $76,152.46 per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging.
