Yilka Heritage and Land Care (YHLC) is recruiting for a Land Management Ranger Coordinator.
Land Management Ranger Coordinator will be experienced and skilled in Indigenous land management work and will:
Coordinate project delivery and ensure Yilka country is managed and cared for consistent with Yilka’s Land Management Plan and Sandalwood Management Plan.
Work with YHLC staff, Yilka ranger team, and partner organisations to develop plans, priorities, and strategies, in accordance with Yilka’s Land Management Plan and Sandalwood Management Plan, to meet Yilka’s goals for looking after country.
In collaboration with YHLC staff, develop the capacity of Yilka rangers to self-manage and lead land management programs.
Participate as a member of the YHLC team.
It’s a full-time role based in Cosmo Newberry and East Perth with a FIDO/DIDO option.
Cosmo Newberry is a small Aboriginal community, located 1,036 kilometres east of Perth between Laverton and Warburton, in the Goldfields-Esperance region.
The annual base salary range is $94,000 to $103,850.
