It's beginning to feel a lot like ballot season! To help clear up any confusion:
👉🏽 SWALSC members of the Ballardong ward will have received ballot papers for a by-election for the SWALSC board of directors representing the Ballardong region. This ballot opened on Friday, 11 February and will close on Friday, 11 March. The result will be declared on Friday, 18 March.
👉🏽 In March, members of the Ballardong, Gnaala Karla Booja, Wagyl Kaip and Whadjuk regional corporations will receive a postal ballot for their boards of directors. These ballots will open on Thursday, 3 March and close on Monday, 4 April. These results will be declared on Friday, 8 April.
👉🏽 In April, members of the Karri Karrak and Yued regional corporations will receive a postal ballot for their boards of directors. These ballots will open on Friday, 8 April and close on Friday, 6 May 2022. These results will be declared on Friday, 13 May.
👉🏽 Candidates for the cultural advice committees will be voted on at the general meetings for each of the 6 regional corporations. Dates and venues for these meetings are still to be finalised - notices will be sent out to eligible members.
