GENERAL MEETING NOTICE
Members of Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation are invited to attend the first general meeting, to be held on Saturday, 18 June 2022, at Northam Town Hall, 83 Wellington St E, Northam, starting at 10am.
We have an exciting journey ahead of us as we progress towards endorsement as a corporation, and begin to implement the Settlement along with the other Noongar corporations.
The initial directors will run this general meeting and update members on their activity so far. At the end of the meeting, the new member elected directors will begin their terms. They will begin the work of appointing staff, establishing an office and finalising our endorsement.
We ask that you consider the safety of our community and our Elders by not attending if you have any COVID symptoms or have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID. Although they are not mandatory at this time, we also encourage you to wear a well-fitted mask as an extra precaution. We will have available face masks, hand sanitiser and RAT tests for members if required, and ask that you maintain social distance where possible.
We encourage all members of the Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation to join us for this meeting, to help make our new regional corporation strong and successful.
