You can comment on the four indicative management plans that collectively form the proposed South Coast Marine Park. The proposed marine park will span the coast between Bremer Bay and Eucla.
There are separate management plans for each native title area for the joint management arrangements with the four Traditional Owner groups. These four marine areas will be managed as one interconnected ecological system.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), with support from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), consulted with Traditional Owners over an 18-month period to develop the management plans.
The four-month public comment period closes 16 June 2024.
