Noongar Regional Corporations awarded funding in Round 7 of the Aboriginal Ranger Program.
The program helps Aboriginal organisations employ and train Aboriginal people as rangers, coordinators and other management and support staff to undertake land and sea management activities.
The Noongar Regional Corporations receiving funding are:
Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation: $150,000 (one year funding)
Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation: $1,618,268 (two year funding)
Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation and Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation: $150,000 (one year funding)
Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation: $1,106,811 (two year funding)
