Funding awarded to manage Noongar Country

Four Noongar regions were awarded funding in Round 8 of the Aboriginal Ranger Program.

Congratulations to the Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation, Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation, Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar Aboriginal Corporation, and Yued Aboriginal Corporation, who are set to receive important funds to assist in managing Noongar Country.

The Western Australian Aboriginal Ranger Program helps Aboriginal organisations manage country and protect the environment, in partnership with public and private sectors, and is administered by the Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA).
