Coordinator, Aboriginal Ranger Program

A FIXED-TERM, FULL-TIME POSITION (UNTIL 30 JUNE 2025), BASED IN KENSINGTON

PSCA, Level 6, $103,966 - $114,590 p.a. plus 10.5% Superannuation. Aboriginality is preferred for this position (refer Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), as amended).

Job Description

Under limited guidance, this position is responsible for implementing the Western Australian Government’s Aboriginal Ranger Program (ARP) by:

  • Leading the ARP Team to achieve project objectives within designated timeframes.

  • Facilitating partnerships with government, Aboriginal groups, and other interest groupsto develop projects and partnerships to provide meaningful Aboriginal ranger opportunities and fulfill traditional owner cultural heritage management aspirations.

  • Overseeing the development, monitoring, and reporting of ARP funding contracts to ensure they meet government financial and procurement requirements.

  • Developing and reviewing policies, strategies, and procedures that support the delivery of the ARP and provide mechanisms to improve the program.
