Solid Futures Aboriginal traineeship program gives young Aboriginal people formal training, paid employment and support to complete a Certificate III in Government.
Traineeships are available now at government agencies in the metropolitan Perth area.
This program provides extensive support and assistance with the help of supervisors, training coordinators and more, plus an Aboriginal mentor to guide you.

To apply you must
Be of Aboriginal Australian and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
Be aged 24 years or younger
Evidence of highest level of education – Year 10 as a minimum with a ‘C’ grade in mathematics and English, and with good school attendance
Be able to obtain a satisfactory National Police Clearance
Be committed to working in a government agency office environment full time for 12 months (37.5 hours per week), or 18 months in a part time arrangement (minimum 20 hours a week).
Candidates must reside in the Perth metropolitan area during the traineeship
