The Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service (DYHS) is seeking a full time Environmental Health Worker for a fixed term contract of 12 months.
The Environmental Health Officer (EHO) is responsible for delivering culturally appropriate environmental health services in Aboriginal communities. The role will focus on mitigating environmental health risks contributing to poor health outcomes, offering support directly within community members’ homes.
This role will provide culturally sensitive solutions to improve living conditions, sanitation, and hygiene, which directly impact community health.
The annual salary for this role is $80,000 to $84,881 plus superannuation and salary sacrificing.
