The Aboriginal Health Council of WA (AHCWA) is seeking a Sector Engagement Officer.
The Sector Engagement Officer (50D) directly reports to the Policy and Strategy Manager, and is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer.
This position engages with metropolitan, regional and remote Aboriginal communities and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) on national and state level policies and issues that affect the ACCHS sector, and impact the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people and their communities in Western Australia.
Aboriginality is an essential criterion and is provided for in accordance with section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
It's a full time position based in Perth, fixed term until 23 May 2025, with the possibility of extension.
