Fremantle Ports: Indigenous Relations Officer

Opportunity to work for Fremantle Ports - a vital transport hub, supporting Western Australia's economic growth.

The Indigenous Relations Officer reports to the Manager, Government Relations and Public Policies and is responsible for coordinating the progression and delivery of reconciliation initiatives within Fremantle Ports’ Reconciliation Action Plan.

The role will also assist in increasing the organisation’s understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories and taking a lead role to establish and maintain relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

It's a 12-month maximum term contract to progress Fremantle Ports reconciliation journey, and can be offered full time or part time.

This role is identified as Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, therefore applicants must be of Australian Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander descent.
