Anglicare WA is seeking an Aboriginal Inclusion Worker, YES! Housing - 50D
The new role of Aboriginal Inclusion Worker will provide guidance and direction to the team of youth workers around cultural safety and security when working and supporting the Aboriginal young people accessing YES! Housing.
The role will also support, where relevant and appropriate, creating, maintaining and fostering client connection to family and culture. Facilitating referrals, access and liaison with appropriate services, ACCO's and services that offer cultural knowledge sharing and experiences is also a big part of this role.
Applicants must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984).
The role works 3 days per week in Leederville and the annual salary is $84,000 pro rata plus superannuation.
