Centrecare is seeking an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker to support Aboriginal children, young people and their families working with the Child and Adolescent Forensic Service in the community or at Banksia Hill Detention Centre.
The successful candidate will provide social, emotional, cultural, and/or mental health support to young people and their families through a case management model. They will also have a Bachelor degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in Mental Health or progression to formal qualifications in Mental Health.
This is a full time role based in Gosnells. Aboriginality is considered an essential requirement under section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
