Alcoa is recruiting for a Cross-Cultural Research Scientist for the Pinjarra, Mandurah and Peel area.
The Research Centre at Alcoa is looking for a Cross-Cultural Research Scientist to engage with Traditional Owners, Regional and Local Aboriginal Corporations to co-design research that will focus on identifying improvements in environmental management of Alcoa’s operations and surrounding areas by embedding cultural knowledge systems.
The position will work collaboratively with Alcoa technical teams, Indigenous Ranger Programs, students and external research scientists to deliver the co-designed research programs that will address five key research themes for the Centre across Cultural Land Management, Flora, Fauna, Rehabilitation and Water.
It’s a full-time role, with base salary plus 14% superannuation, annual bonus, and leisure days.
