The Wungening Aboriginal Corporation is recruiting for a Coordinator - Wungening Moort, an Aboriginal In-home Support Service.
Reporting to the Manager Wungening Moort, this position will lead a team of staff to deliver Wungening Moort, an Aboriginal In-home Support Service. The service is delivered by a Consortium of four Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, comprising Ebenezer Aboriginal Corporation, Moorditj Koort, Coolabaroo Community Services, and led by Wungening Aboriginal Corporation (Wungening).
The Coordinator will lead the team to support the most vulnerable Aboriginal families in the PEEL area to nurture moorditj djerripin koorlungas (strong happy children). Work with the Manager of the service to promote practice excellence in working with Aboriginal families while adhering to Wungening Moort’s service model.
The Coordinator will foster a learning culture within the team, acting as a coach to support staff to improve practice, while facilitating opportunities for training and professional development. Be an active contributor to the continuous improvement of the service and contribute to service reports as required by funding bodies.
It’s a part-time role and the annual salary is $102,777.40 pro rata plus superannuation and salary packaging.
