The Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation (MWWAC) is seeking an experienced and passionate Funding and Business Development Officer.
Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation is the largest and oldest Aboriginal resource agency in the Kimberley. The Corporation works with the Bunuba, Gooniyandi, Wangkatjungka, Walmajarri and Nyikina groups in the Fitzroy Valley to strengthen culture, support community and create sustainable employment solutions.
As the newly created Funding and Business Development Officer, this role will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The role includes Identifying and securing funding opportunities, managing grant reporting and compliance to ensure funding obligations are met, plus a number of other responsibilities.
Experience working with Aboriginal communities and an understanding of funding landscapes relevant to the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
It’s a permanent part-time role based in North Perth, with an annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 pro rata.
