The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is seeking an Indigenous Outreach Worker - Sexual Health.
An exciting opportunity for Aboriginal community member with a passion for promoting sexual health to join SWAMS to work on the Syphilis Project.
The Indigenous Outreach Worker - Sexual Health will be involved in community engagement, education, health promotion, advocacy and identifying opportunities to increase testing and management of sexually transmitted infections. The role includes promoting syphilis point of care testing and will be based in Bunbury with travel to SWAMS outreach clinics. The position will involve both working within a team and independently.
Essential criteria: Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent under section 50(d) Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
It’s a full time position based in Bunbury.
