The Rottnest Island Authority is seeking a full time Heritage Officer.
The Heritage Officer (50D) forms part of the Heritage team, in the Environment, Heritage and Parks business area. The position assists the Heritage Team with management and cultural care of Aboriginal heritage and sites across the Island, and assists with truth-telling projects and engagement with a range of stakeholders including Aboriginal Elders, Traditional Owners and community groups.
Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
