Edith Cowan University: Lecturer, Aboriginal Performance

The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) is seeking a passionate, collaborative, creative and experienced theatre artist to take on the exciting role of Lecturer (Aboriginal Performance) in a full time role.

In this role, the successful candidate will bring their skills and experience in teaching acting to guide students through a comprehensive training program that prepares them for theatre and screen work. The role involves directing both in-class projects and public productions, providing hands-on, real-world experience.

Expertise in the performing arts industry will ensure that the course reflects best practices, while ability to work with diverse age groups and experience levels will be key to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

The annual salary for this role is $80,938 to $108,498 (ALEVA) or $113,918 to $134,596 (ALEVB) plus 17% superannuation and paid Cultural and Ceremonial Leave.
